God, I love your Rose Potter and this universe. It's twisted just right, and bittersweet. I love that Rose knows her own mind, tries to draw the lines even while she's flailing--not just for her own sake, but for Sirius'. And I love the coda with Remus echoing Sirius' concern.

I hope there's more of this 'verse to come!

Thank you! This feels like the one section of the Potterverse I'll never be able to turn my back on entirely, so I imagine I will write more. I've got a draft of the story where Snape comes to fetch 2nd year!Rose away from the Dursley's going at the moment.

"twisted just right" is how I like to think of it too. :)

Well, I still read 1 HP fic, "A Year Like None Other" (and the sequels "A Summer Like None Other" and "A Family Like None Other"); Kate brought that one to my attention, so I'm not sure if you've already read it or not or if it would even be to your taste. That aside, not so much.

I have read AYLNO. I liked it all right at first, but toward the end, and then the sequels...not so much. Too much fetish, too little story and character development.
