I've been following this all along. I'm impressed with how well you write a difficult character. The choices Zacharius makes are very clear and logical to me after reading your drabbles. Returning the coin rather than leaving it where an enemy could find it was a responsible act, even if Earnie doesn't see it.

I enjoyed all three.

The first one is the most brilliant, I think. That's so like him.

But poor Zacharias in the third one! Maybe he did deserve it, but you've always got me symphathizing with the Hufflepuffs when you write. :)

Heh, I always have a tendency to sympathize with the Hufflepuffs, too, but I try to always give Ginny a reason. Thank you for your insight and review. :)
