oh wow now I guess this episode answers how Cesare got his scars...

OMG I love Micheletto even more! Brilliant concept of this new skill he has! I know we can talk spoilers here but I found it endearing learning it in the moment.

I think he's my favorite this season - apart from the C/L love.

EDITED TO ADD: Just so you know the C/L is not as indulgent as we might have thought...but it's been tons of misleading surprises in all these episodes.

Maybe their reunion (which was subtly put) will show more than we anticipate.

TBH, I kind of preferred that we didn't see Cesare and Lucrezia actually having sex again--I think this is better, continuity-wise, given his previous misgivings and guilt. It would have been too sudden, IMO. Instead, we still get C/L sexiness and touching and affection, and the implication that they wish they could have more (even an almost!kiss), but still holding themselves back, resisting. Incest isn't something to be taken lightly, and I'm glad they aren't doing it here. The important thing is that they are still having quality interactions with their usual banter and beautifully smiling at each other in a way they don't do with other people, and still being so intimate and physical and clearly loving each other above all...(which was emphasized further by the medicine woman's palm-reading, despite Lucrezia she was happy now with her husband). So I am happy!

And yeah, a photographic memory is definitely a good skill for a super assassin to have...;)

Guh. I feel so sorry for Micheletto. "Affection leads to weakness, " he said, and he was right in this circumstance. He asked Cesare to kill him. He couldn't deal. He's supposed to protect Chez, and he made him vulnerable instead. And he couldn't deal. I can't deal either. Mich's tears are my tears.

Cesare biting Lucrezia's fingers may be the sexiest thing I've ever seen. The way he looks at her. "Everything?" "Almost everything." OMG. I am a giant, glowing ball of C/L feels.

Caterina earns the nickname of Tigress, no doubt. She is strong and fierce. She grieves, but she keeps going. I love her so much. I'm a bit disappointed in the character of Rufio though. He seems little more than a sounding board for Caterina's ideas and a messenger. Micheletto is a much more impressive assassin. Maybe I am missing something?

Cesare was very sassy this episode. I loved it.

I like Rodrigo and his new buddy.

Cardinal Sforza was rocking the pomp and circumstance.

Excellent episode.

OMG I know, my heart was breaking so much for Micheletto, have we ever seen him cry before? :( I think it was a combination both of his own heartbreak and feeling so foolish with the guilt at having failed in his duty to his master. UGH he slayed it though, it's nice to have a meaty Micheletto storyline for once.

IA about the finger-biting, what was that even, lol? :p I mean, I like it, but lol, where does your mind go...especially when he was talking to her with her finger in his mouth--oral fixation much? ;) He just likes to have his mouth on any part of her...

Maybe I am missing something?Caterina is just the best--a worthy opponent for the Borgias, in terms of intellect and cleverness as well as power and influence ( ... )

I'm pretty sure that's the first time Mich has cried, and, yeah, it was great to see him with the heavier plotline. So, so good. I really wish this show got more critical acclaim. It's so deserving.

I have no idea, but I could lose an entire day staring at those gifs. Oh, François...

He just likes to have his mouth on any part of her...

Heeheeeheeeheeeheeeee.

Oh god, Micheletto just killed me. And the C/L bed scene was as sexy as them actually having sex, for crying out loud. And the Neopolitan King scares me. He seems psycho-frightening. I know this topic is 3x08 only, but 3x08 and 3x09 back to back had SUCH INTENSITY. I can't even..I just...mush. My brain is mush.

This episode felt a bit boring to me. It wasn't 'til the second half that things started to get interesting : Cesare/Lucrezia, Micheletto's writing skill, Pascal's betrayal and the Borgias realizing what a snake the king of Naples really is. That guy disturbs me so much.

Kinda surprised Lucrezia still trusts the herb lady tbh.
