I was so proud of Lucrezia's political maneuvering, so sad to see she miscalculated big time. :( Next week looks epic though between the promo pics and this...are we finally going to get Cesare's "JESUS LOVES MEEE" deranged scene, lol? Also the C/L bed scene, woot!

I'm SO EXCITED FOR THIS EPISODE!! We get Cesare/Lucrezia scenes, Lucrezia realizing her miscalculation, a vengeful Catherina Sforza, all wrapped in one delicious episode!

And omg is that Cardinal Sforza finally siding with his family? Nooooooooooooooooo ;___;

So I've been wrapped with work irl so I didn't get a chance to comment on all this stuff! But my GOD does the C/L happen BEFORE she's a held captive? And what exactly is Katarina (sp?) setting up to explode?

The "Jesus loves me" part has me so intrigued into the context. Would this be when Cesare discovers Lucrezia has been captured? I have a feeling when Cesare arrives to get her, she has long gone. I'm going to guess when he storms in he gets the bad news she's gone?

And in previous promos they show her being carried off...I'm guessing that's the sleeping potion. I keep getting this weird feeling that Cesare is led to believe the worse of her capture when in fact she has escaped and is safe.

So many questions, and although we're almost at the end? I am so satisfied they fulfilled their relationship, and consummating it as pretty much canon on the series. I'm grateful that Jordan and company at least gave us the fans the chance to watch these two beautiful people onscreen together :)

I think this is the episode before Cesare realizes she's been held captive. I assumed from the synopsis that he races to her in episode 9? Might be wrong though.

I can't tell you how excited I am for JESUS LOVES ME. I think (HOPE) that Cesare says this after the C/L scene. I really want him to just give up and say fuck it, we all know it's coming I just hope it's this episode. If he pushes her away in that bed scene I will go insane.

I hope they do some sort of mix up scene, where Cesare is told Lucrezia is dead or dying and he just goes mental. That would at least explain why he is so pleased to see her on the road back to Rome, so much so that silly Alfonso FINALLY starts to get a clue.

Lol I had been waiting forever for "JESUS LOVES ME" as well, I was literally going, "Is this is it? Is it coming now? Now?" the whole time...:p So funny!

Yeah I think it happens before she is held captive. So I assume it will probably be earlier in the episode.

In a lot of ways, I think something drastic HAS to happen in order for Cesare to completely embrace his feelings for Lucrezia. Yet those feelings, as we have seen whenever he becomes enamoured, always verge on madness...and I think the same could be said for her to a degree. Yet I think Lucrezia's capture, and Cesare's inability to keep her safe will be the tipping point.

I mean, can you even IMAGINE what will happen?! Cesare has to play his cards right because Federico (is that the right one? lol) is now king and once more the "needs of the family" have to be secured; he's done everything possible to secure the family and he failed to see the danger he put in Lucrezia's life. So by episode 9 who knows what he will have been told when he finds her missing? And worse, if she is in danger?

I hope the events of the explosion, Katarina's ploys, and Lucrezia's capture coincide...it'll be more dramatic that way.

Federico (is that the right one? lol) is now king

Lol, I thought it was the opposite, that Rafaello had been the victor, but apparently I was wrong given they say Federico in the episode...so confusing!
