our upstairs neighbors (and landlords) are throwing a birthday/slumber party for their daughter who is turning twelve. we really love living with them, and when we ran into mom and daughter after our walk this afternoon, they told us about the party, and ben and i got this idea to make her a mix "tape" as a gift. the only thing is, i'm not really

Well, I think it looks cool! 12 year olds are all different, but I remember when I was a counselor, my campers liked the music we played--even though it wasn't new... and I sent a few tapes to campers who kept in touch with me. I think it's a receptive age, and you have good taste in music, so... rock on!
