Plastic seems like it'd be very plain-tasting

I'm going to make a public service announcement for my cat Chester.

It's going to simply say "Don't Eat Plastic".

I came into the living room to find him chewing off the plastic cover to my new Garden State CD. I just know he's not going to quit until he's torn it off completely and eaten it. I worry about my cats.

The Shins is one of my favorite bands! They're supposed to be having a new cd come out...it might be already out. I'm so shameful :/

Not so surprisingly, Chester ended up throwing up and I had to clean it up at 2:00 in the morning! I was really worried that he swallowed some plastic--he may have. There's no telling what they eat. It's hard for me, though, 'cause I can't be here during the day to watch them. I try to keep plastic away from them, but it's everywhere! I have plastic bags, plastic on video tapes, plastic wrappers fall off the counter and I don't realize it until I hear Chester chewing on it. It's bad, man. I think Chester has a problem. I'm gonna have to sign him for P.A. (Plastic Anonymous).

I think it's a woman, actually :) I'm not sure if it's from anything. I got this, along with most of my Halloween icons from icon_goddess

It's because plastic is rendered with animal fat. At least that's what my vet told me.

CJ is a plastic eater.

Oh, weird! I didn't know that! it kind of makes sense--maybe that's what makes it so pliable.

I'm glad Chester isn't the only one. I get worried that he's going to try to swallow it, though. I remember one time I did have to pull a piece of plastic from his throat. He hadn't swallowed it all the way, but part of it was down his throat. Scared the shit out of me!
