*cracks up* I knew he would die. It seemed obvious to me that he would when the actor playing him kicked it, so yeah. I just thought it would be at the beginning of the 7th book. ( Well, actually, I'm pretty sure I know who's going to die in the next two books, but I sort of think of them as the same book. )
I always knew that his death had to come before book 7 because it's been his will holding back any sort of final conflict.
The one thing I can't figure out, because I'm just too fucking _involved_ is if Snape will die in teh last book as some sort of redemption for his past sins, or if he'll be the dude who survives and never really understands any of how that could be.

Dude, yeah. I have some of the same reservations about Remus, not in terms of redemption but in terms of "Because everyone else in his life fucking has and sometimes living is too cruel" or if, just like you said, he'll be one of the survivors who stands in the wake of it, like some ocean in which he was certain of drowning receding.

I'm only surprised Jo didn't kill off Cho first, following the pattern of underdeveloped charachters that Harry becomes partial to only immediately preceding their deaths. Ginny, for example, in CoS, and Cedric in OoP.
Well, Harry has to stand on his own two feet in the seventh book, so you gotta kill Dumbledore. Tell you the truth, I should have seen that coming.

I really, really, really REALLY hope that Jo DOES kill off Cho. I really dislike that girl.
Well, yes, but I thought that Dumbledore would probably die at the beginning of the 7th book. Which is why I didn't put a bet on Dumbledore, to tell the truth. So I did see it coming, just not this soon.
I am somehow morbidly amused that the old fart is fianlly kicking it.

This is mean, but I hope Harry dies in the last book. Seriously, I want a book where the main character dies, damnit!

1) I want the main character to die, 2) I want Harry to die.
Because I don't like him.

Moony said, "The latter is going to bring up a whole lot of Voldy/Draco non-con, isn't it?" What's sad, is that's i's true. -_-;;
