Glad you had a good time! I was on Mythbusters a few months ago as well, and am similarly bound not to talk about it. The two people in your picture were there, too, and were really nice - plus I got to say five or six words to the stars as we took a photo.
It was fun and boring at the same time, much like yours, though perhaps for very different reasons ;)
I actually got to talk to both Kari and Grant both for a bit, Torey and I only talked on camera ;-)
One of the things I noticed that I CAN share about that really has me hot under the collar? In about 150 women, divided into 2 groups they didn't manage to find a SINGLE qualified full figured female? When they sent out our photos (group photos, but I chopped my group out lol!) they sent all of the photos to all of us- and they didn't even BCC us. So I have every single email address, and each of them has mine. I'm pouty! *sigh*
Huh... well, that may not have had anything to do with The Guys; I have no idea whether they fall prey to size-ism, misogyny or any of the other things that might have caused that kind of choice. As we are all too painfully aware, though, Hollywood (and its related industries) does tend to run along those lines.
Which sucks, and is very slowly changing, but for now... bleah. Hopefully the rest of the experience was entertaining :)
Oh really? In the original pilot (which has now been sanitized) Adam goes On and On and ON about his disgust for fat women who don't bother to take care of themselves and have massive amounts of cellulite when they're making the butt model to test the myth about airplane toilets being able to suck one's bowels out.
Additionally Adam loves telling a story about sitting around Mythbusters objectifying a famous woman and basically talking about how she has less because he ex-husband says she's very loose- but apparently Jamie would fuck her anyway, because it doesn't matter because she's hot. So yeah.... *sigh*
