God, I covet so much of your music! Okay, I am downloading a few of these tonight. I, uh, will probably be back, if that's okay. Please let me know if you would like me to stop using up all of your bandwidth and I will stop being so greedy!

Taking tonight: Belle & Sebastian (Tigermilk), Noah and the Whale, Oasis, Arcade Fire (Funeral), and Neutral Milk Hotel (In the Aeroplane...)

Although, if you have any suggestions for something I must have right now then I would love suggestions!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Feel free to download anything/everything you want, it's totally cool. As for recommendations, uh, I have quite a few that I love; Laura Marling, Kate Tucker & the Sons of Sweden and Gregory and the Hawk are some of my go-to albums, if you like female singer/songwriters that are pretty mellow and have really great lyrics.

This list hasn't been updated in awhile, though - I should probably get on that! I'll let you know when that happens, and I'm sure I'll have tons more recs then. :D

And I love your icon! ♥ ♥ NEVILLE!

ETA: Ok, so I've updated the list. Some artists I've into lately include Arrah and the Ferns, Lenka, Lights (all these three are pretty upbeat, poppy, sing-along in your car), Emmy the Great and Basia Bulat (not quite so poppy but upbeat and fun). That's a lot of female singer/songwriters; I must be going through some sort of phase. :p

Let me know if you snag anything I recommend, and definitely let me know what you think. :D

NEVILLE, indeed. ♥

I've been really wanting some good upbeat albums for a while now, so those sound perfect! Gah, so much music so little time. I will download the ones you suggested over the next few days and I'll let you know what I thought.

Thank you so much! *excited*

Popped over to see your layout, and I approve, but then I got distracted by ALL THIS SHINY.

I'd love a rec if you;ve got one, for the most obscure but mainstreamily accessible (yes I made up a word, deal with it :P) artist on your list? Or just, anything you think I should own right this minute. <333 And if you want something from my list (second entry on my LJ, but it's so not finished yet) just say the word!

Oh oh, and it makes me so hapy that you've got some stuff I gave you up here. :)

I recommend Arrah and the Ferns to pretty much anyone who will listen, so start there. Also, Lenka and Lights are new artists I've just discovered, and I've listened the shit out of their albums. As for obscure and mainstream? Try Regina Spektor. She's had songs featured on Veronica Mars and Grey's Anatomy, so you may have heard her if you watch those, but she's not Top 40 mainstream.

And I would looove Martha Wainwright's I Will Internalize! I love I Know You're Married..., and I've got some other songs of hers, but in weird formats, like .wma or something. Ew.

Music sharing is love! ♥

ETA: Whoops, I don't actually have Lights uploaded right now. If you're really interested, I can upload it in the next couple of days.

Grabbing all of the above right now, and don;t worry about Lights -- I actually downloaded that CD last summer on a whim. I love the CD!

I also love Regina Spektor! Cliche as it is to love this song, my favorite of hers is Samson. I only have Begin to Hope, but I shall grab the others from you!

Thanks so much! I felt like my music listening habits needed some fresh blood. :)

And for you, I Will Internalize EP. I may get around to finishing out my media list and linking to what I;ve already uploaded eventually, but in the meantime you're always welcome to holler if you want anything.

I was linked to you by a friend, and I think I might be in love. Definitely grabbing iMegaphone by Imogen Heap (I have both the other ones...and Vienna Teng...or I'd be grabbing all those), probably grabbing a few others. Thank you!!
