Did some experimenting today. This is my first time doing an actual hdr not a
knock off. So yay me! It actually came out good. If you don't know what HDR check out the
wikipedia page. They explain it a lot better than I could. It took a long time with just experimenting and looking at HDR tuts on Deviantart. But I'm sure if I had a better subject and more practice I'd make a better hdr. :)
EDIT: Here's the tutorial I used
Simple HDR Tutorial. Basically follow the steps but in the historgram before you convert it to 8-bit put the slider in the mid range, not too bright and not too dark. And after converting it to 8-bit the thing that will pop-up, you want to give it a little contrast but not much. Also not featured is the next step I did which is used Shadow/Highlight which is in Image > Adjustments > Shadow/Highlight... And while I do use PS CS3 it is in CS2. Shadow/Highlight you really have to experiment with, I suggest doing so with images of different subjects because you can get images that look like
this.
Any questions just ask. :)
