I haven't posted in a month, since I became unemployed. I thought I'd be more prolific online, but its been the opposite, as I have been busy sending out resumes, making contacts, being a house husband.

Went to a funeral of a friend yesterday. Brenda was only in her 40's, finally losing her battle with diabetes type 1. The funeral home was full

That's a wonderful picture of Brenda, and at the same time misses her spontaneous whimsy entirely. I'm glad it was a good ceremony, and sorry I couldn't be there.

Last night was amazing. You could so tell that she was there with us. I also loved that there were very few tears and we celebrated. She would have wanted it that way.
