As ever, it's been ages since I've updated. Life is so busy, I hardly have time to breathe, let alone write here. But anyway

Oooh, can I escape to the country with you? We'll boycott Christmas together. We could sit around, drinking wine, eating fattening foods, and talk about writing.

Oh please feel free. Do you fancy New York, a buggy ride round a snowy Central Park, and a huge suite (complete with huge Christmas tree) in a posh hotel in the best hotel? Of course, some mystery benefactor would have to pay for it...

Well, you find that mystery benefactor, and we'll go wherever you want, sweets. Have you ever been to the States before?

No. I really really want to visit the States, specifically NYC (my burning ambition is to get there someday, along with Rome, before I get too old!!!), LA, San Francisco, Chicago. But really I'd love to take an extended tour across the continent just to sample lots of places. But of course, you need money for that!
