2. It should not be so @#$% hard to find an eight-count box of plain, ordinary Crayola crayons.

I always thought the lowest standard crayon count was 12.

I swear, every time I go shopping, something goes out of production or otherwise disappears on me. Let me guess, it's all crayola markers and gel glitter pens and chalk and you can't find any actual crayons in stores?

Nope, all specialty crayons. Had a helluva time finding markers, too.

I found them eventually ;). It just took some doing. There were all these specialty boxes, and no plain ones.
