fan_eunice has asked people for lists of love about their shows. When have you ever known me to turn away from talking about how much I love something. Kickin' it old school with B5.
It just...who would have predicted that G'Kar would be the only person Londo would trust to have his back? And yet, by the time you get there, it makes total and complete sense.
I'm actually rewatching B5 right now, because I was trying to get my friend graycastle into it. In the process, I decided to finally get the DVDs, and then (of course) I had to start watching it again. As an arc.
The next episode up is "Comes the Inquisitor," which I cannot watch. Not until at least Saturday! If I start now, I won't get off the sofa all night!
I love this show so much. I mean, okay, clunky dialogue sometimes, rather a lot of wince-worthy one-offs, especially in season one, but there's always at least one plot I'm interested in, always some fabulous payoff down the road, or a line in this episode that recalls a line in that episode, and, of course, there's always Ivanova.
Also, *Vir*. He changed so much from his first appearance, and grew so much even though he was pretty much a secondary character.
Who doesn't love :"I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I want to look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this." -- it's so PERFECT!

The entire G'kar/Londo arc that ends so differently from what you assume will happen is just-- poetry.

Angsting over Garibaldi. Mourning Ivanova. Thrilled at Sinclair's return.
I don't think I've ever waited for the next episode/season of a series as anxiously as I did B5.
