You know in fairness, I told him several times that if what I was writing about bothered him, he could just unfriend me, no hurt feelings. So I can't really blame him for that. I can blame him for being a fucking hypocrite, though.

Yeah, I know. I was there, watching you tell him that, in several different posts/conversations. (But yeah, being hypocritical is just plain uncool.)

It does make me think back to a couple years ago, when I was having all the Issues with that woman Laura. When she would come into my FB posts and take exception to things I had posted or commented on. I found myself wondering if those of us who participate in fannish communities aren't just a bit (okay, a LOT) more...cognizant and understanding of how things work in social media. Say someone makes a post that offends me...I either click the button to hide it, or just scroll past it. I don't engage, because it was just a random post that I wasn't interested in pursuing. Laura never seemed to get that -- she *always* came to my FB and engaged me on (in particular) my religious rants, when there really wasn't any point.

Eh, sorry, I hope that was marginally clear. My brain is muzzy with melatonin and muscle relaxers. 'Bout bedtime :)

*hugs*
