This one was written with excellent realism; the events were prosaic but ambiguous enough that I was just waiting for the twist.

Thank you. It's always nice to get generous feedback. Only one thing, though... there is no twist!!! Everything that happens in the story happens in the story, whether it be contradictory or not. There is no ambiguity. - none intended, anyway.
