The Funeral with Turtles and Hamsters

Jul 08, 2009 02:58

Unless you've been dead to the world before 25 June (in which the 24th is my birthday), you'll know whose funeral I'm talking about. I watched it because I like to cry. And I did cry. Okay, I DO cry. The family grew up around entertainments and medias that every sibling of him is a practiced entertainer. They know how to hold great concert and ( Read more... )

Oh, you're talking about Jacko? His funeral is just so...great...really....
By the way, there's a camera that caught something they believed as "Jacko's ghost" in his house in Neverland. I doubt it's his ghost...but I don't know...it also could be true.

Hamsters do lick fingers? Ouh...I hope they did lick my fingers, not attempting to bite it. Maybe they'll just do it if they're comfortable enough with the person =="

It's okay even if they bite you. It never hurts. My hamsters and mammal pets always lick me in hands, arms, feet, face... basically everywhere. I always reciprocate by kissing them all over too, since I don't enjoy the taste of fur :P

I am not really sure he died. He had a big debt and too much media coverage, so the death may be fake. Who knows, but I do like the memorial event. It reminds me of a church at Christmas.

Jacko's 'ghost' might really be him. He is (was) a nice person, but he had a unique personality and thus became a great victim of the press. His family might thought all the coverage and rumors are too much and in the end decided to protect him. So he MIGHT still be alive ;)

I must say, I agree with everything you said about MJ. You should have seen the celebrations they had for him over here in the US. It was great. Tiny little towns and big cities...everyone singing and dancing, moonwalking on the sidewalks...folks in their 1980's Thriller Halloween costumes...

Fantastic.

Yes, people are sad, but it's been nice to see that they are remembering him for his music instead of the scandals. (I've had Billy Jean on repeat for days now...)

On another note, you have a pretty sweet set-up for your turtles. And your hamster is just adorable!

MJ's death isn't too celebrated here due to the election time in our country. But I'm sure almost everyone watched 'The Funeral' when it was on air. Three of my friends went to US just to watch it in person.
Yeah, that's the strange thing about people. They only say nice things when the person has died. That man would never hear it, but somehow people believe that the spirit can hear it or something (what a complex inter-dimension communication that is).

My turtles and my hamster say thank you ;D
