Whaaaa!! This was so sad. Ultimately though probably very accurate. This was a very believable look into Ichigo's mind and feelings about his mom.

I've often wondered it Ichigo's love and subsequent loss of his mother is the real reason he never seems to have an attraction to anyone.

Thank you!! I've actually wanted to write a fic about this for a long long time, since i've always been deeply moved by Ichigo's love for his mother. But you can see i'm a terrible procrastinator ><

It could be as you said. Ichigo had always been protective of those around him, but he had never came close to having a romantic relationship with anyone.

The last line *killed* me. It was so beautiful, and simply got everything that you wrote before it, everything Ichigo feels for his mother, and everything, absolutely everything that protecting her grave meant in just seven words.

So, yes, I liked it~ ♥

And I think that Ichigo is always trying to protect everyone just for the raw fear of losing them. Or it could be the same reason why he doesn't get too close to people (as in loving them...)

...but I'm slightly sleep deprived so never mind me. Thanks for sharing! May I meme this?

Thank you for the lovely comment!! Bleach isn't a series that put too much emphsis on relationship between characters, but I was so moved by Ichigo's love for his mother. It's just so pure and yet painful.

Indeed, ichigo seemed to regard everyone around him as nakama. He cherished them, but doesn't get closer.

Especially Ichigo... I don't think I've ever read so much depressing stuff about him in such a short amount of time. Haha. Poor guy! Guess I'll have to kill someone else next week. :P
