Simply lovely, but terribly heart breaking. Very tense, very emotional and very real feeling.

Honestly I think it is very close to what we will see happen at the end of the manga. With the exception of the kiss. I don't really see that happening in a shounen manga.

On my more optimistic days I think Ichigo and Rukia really will have a emotional and heart breaking separation at the end of the manga. But with a little hope of being together again when Ichigo does die for real.

Of course on my more pessimistic days I pretty much see one of both dying in each others arms. So, yeah. I much prefer your version. :D

Indeed, i tried to visualise what will happen in the end, if both of them were to survive. And i don't see the kiss happening either, to be honest, Kubo doesn't seem interested in inserting any romance in the story, since Ichigo have never shown anything exceeding freindship towards Rukia or Inoue.
