Babe passed away on New Year's Eve. She had a seizure and we rushed her to the emergency vet and the doctor reported her blood pressure was through the roof. Apparently, despite the 6 months we'd been bringing her in and the couple three thousand dollars we'd spent to keep her renal failure at bay, our vet never once checked her blood pressure. :\ ( Read more... )

*hugs* - thanks for sharing, the pics are adorable. Nelda does look a lot like Baby. You were such a cutie too! What age were you there? I'm guessing 14? What a loving thing for your mom to put the photos together for you like that.

I think I'd just turned 16 because we got her in the summer of 91 I think. And yeah, my mom's good about the scrapbooks. Besides that cat scrapbook, she made me another one, my brother and sister each one, all my nieces and my nephew one, and maybe one for her brother or sister. I think she's finally getting burnt out on them, understandably, as she still has fingers left.
