Fic: The Painted Wall (Heroes/BSG Crossover)

Sylar watches the news story, eyes fixed on the television, hand flat on the bar in front of him.

A patron, beside him, lets out a burp. “What is this?” he slurs, drunkenly. “Some kinda science fiction movie? Hey! Can someone put on the Red Sox, please?”

“Shut up,” says the bartender, snapping her rag at him. “It’s the news, dumbass.”

Gaeta is a scientist, and Sylar knows how to deal with scientists.

*shudders* I find the offhand reference to Mohinder a bit creepy. And I loved the Mylar moments that you brought up in the sex scene.

I have to admit, I've watched maybe three episodes of BSG in my entire life. And I didn't actually like it that much; or, more accurately, I didn't not like it, but I didn't turn into an immediate fangirl the way I do with most everything else. So I only have a vague memory of who this character is. But it didn't stop me liking the story. :) Amazing Sylar characterization here. Great job.

Yeah, I've found that Mylar is basically canon in my view of the Heroes universe *sigh* But, I feel, if you take Mylar as a given, it's not likely that Sylar/Gabriel would have had much more sexual experience than that, so he'd be thinking of Mohinder, his previous experience, while with Felix.

BSG is really easy to get into - if you start from the beginning. Beyond that, it might lose you. And third season is crap.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked ^_^

Even with a rudimentary knowledge of Heroes (and Season 3 of BSG), this was absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking - Felix and Sylar are both strong but yet fundamentally vulnerable, even if they don't acknowledge that weakness. A wonderful and utterly believable crossover, for both fandoms.

Thank you! Yeah, Felix has that trauma of going through what he did on New Caprica, and the betrayal from those he was supposed to trust; Sylar has the pathological need for approval, admiration from at least someone near him. I think Sylar's protective instincts might bring that out in Felix.

Oh my.

Oh, dear. That is just.. amazing. Breathtakingly so. I sat here gasping and ooohing and my poor friend just looked at me like I was crazy.

Thank you! <3 I have my doubts about cross-overs-in particular, BSG crossovers- but this one nailed it.

LOL. I really have a lot of experience with the friend-looking-at-you-like-you're-crazy thing.

Thank you! I try and establish as much legitimacy in the crossover itself as I do in the pairing. I'm glad you liked :D

Wow. I'm shocked at how normal you made this crossover. I was wondering how you'd go about it. This really, really works! Good job.
