The couple is clearly worried. The woman’s mascara is applied too strong on one side; her eyes are lined in irritated red. She’s been crying. The man’s jaw looks as though it’s glued on, and his tie isn’t tied right.

Mohinder has learned - he knows how to recognize the signs, now.

“Can I help you?” Mohinder asks, with a reassuring smile.

WOAH. WEIRD. What an awesome little piece of writing. This great, fleshed-out futureverse revealed so quickly and painlessly, with some amazing dynamics that were totally realistic and yet completely off-the-wall in how out of left field they are. I just don't know what to say. One of the most original things I've read in a very long time, and it's fanfiction. Figure that out. Awesome.

Thank you! Yeah, I know I took a few left-field things, but I was trying a Mohinder, Sylar and Molly household that wasn't completey cracked out. I'm glad you liked! :D

Haha, I love the reveal at the end, of it having been Peter they were worried about. You did a great job at making the Mohinder-Sylar-Molly family unit believable and I loved the idea of them being PIs. It fits so well.

Thanks! I know...Molly, missing persons, fugitives - it just works :P Besides, Sylar's abilities would be nice to have in a PI pinch. I'm glad you liked!

Wow. Strange, potentially-apocalyptic, and nicely twisted. I love how you reveal that it was Peter at the end. This was really original, good job.

oh, wow, that totally came out of left field and just swept me off my feet!!!! peter- i never saw it coming! and i definitely loved the family interaction- molly called it, they are such a divorced couple in this. *snerk* seven years... hmm.... (that screws with the canon timeline a bit, if the original presidential elections were in 5yg. meh.) that's a lot of history...

i think my favorite part is sylar's apology. because it's so painfully real. yes. *huggles*

It's actually not seven years...that was a mistype, from the original, that I forgot to fix. I fixed it, in fact, just before you commented :P In fact, that makes it an ambiguity - of which presidential election it is, how many years this has been going on.

Anyhow, I'm glad you liked!
