is it normal to sit, stare out the window at nothing in particular, blink, and find oneself an hour in the future? this happens to me shockingly often.

love adore lust david sedaris. no one else could describe being trapped in a bathroom with a piece of turd the size of a burrito with such heart and humor. he puts words to emotions, thoughts, and experiences i never knew i had until i read his books and feel the tingling rush of recognition. i marvel, i laugh, and suddenly i feel less alone.
