thank you~! work isn't exactly fun, but i learn new things almost every day and that's exciting. and you're very sweet for posting a comment =) didn't think anyone would considering the length of my hiatus ^^ i'm trying to tackle smallville slash archive in an organized fashion, but the collection has grown mammoth... if there are any standout fics in your mind, please rec me =)

I'll bet work is consuming. Hubby's niece passed the bar last year, and is now working at a legal firm. She's pulling some loooong hours.

As for some standouts... let's see. There've been so many.

How about I start you off with three writers? First is Vivian Darkbloom. She's relatively new to the fandom, but has written several stories that I've enjoyed. They're romantic, plotty and sexy.

Thank you for the recs! I will definitely check them out. So far I’ve read Vivian’s fics and they are fabulous~! I’ve always been a fan of dominant(yet caring)!Clark ☺ The Hinge Moment was especially nice - the idea that one can begin to objectify people from too frequently saving them is intriguing - usually objectification comes up in the context of distancing oneself prior to killing, torturing, maiming etc people. The idea would certainly support the possibility of Clark/Superman developing into an evil overlord at some point in the future… You didn’t mention your fics, but I read Same River Twice and found it very charming. I particularly liked the passage wherein Clark reflects on how flying with Lex is different from flying with anyone else. Nice image and nice feeling ☺
