Yeah, but it's also important to see where people's heads were at in different times and places, as alien as it seems to us now. Stop repeating History's mistakes and all that. Sometimes when I listen to the rap and funk lyrics of the 70's and 80's I realize we really have come a long way and I think that's cause for optimism.
