It's actually less me hating Lindsay and more me hating the media. I'm just so sick of seeing her everywhere. And the fact that the media is making such a big deal out of her and Samantha dating annoys me. I saw her described somewhere as a modern day gay hero. WHAT?

It's not like if I saw her on the street I'd punch her in the face, I just would love to sign on yahoo one day and not see the big story be "OMG GUYS THEY'RE TOTALLY GOING OUT"

I honestly don't think the media is making a big deal about it? It's not like they're focusing entirely on the relationship and nothing else. The paparazzi has revolved almost 24/7 on Lindsay for a while now, and since Lindsay and Sam are dating, well. I mean, they're practically joined at the hip. It's not like you can just ignore it.

And while I wouldn't go so far as to say Lindsay's a hero, I think it does help a bit that here's such a big name celebrity who's seriously dating a woman. I mean, it is kind of a big deal.

Also, I totally squee every time I see an article about Lindsay/Sam, so maybe it's a combination of the fans and the media?

My town is home to Pennsylvania's largest fair every year, and they have deep fried everything. Oreos, bananas, apple slices, pickles, ice cream sandwiches, twinkies, you name it. I have tried most of them, which my stomach hates me for.
