My heart is literally aching for Vincent now. Wow, this chapter really got me. I love the parallels of this Vincent's story with the canon one, but yet the differences are what make this unique.

I can pretty much see and feel how tired Vincent must be. Your power with words is a mighty one, both of you : )

Why thank you!! :D You flatter us indeed. I do remember when I was writing this that I wanted to somehow make Vincent's life here kind of like his life in canon. Looks like I got it right! XD

We hope we can continue to keep you engaged with the story as we roll on and hopefully come to the end! As we pick out chapters to edit and post it's like re-reading it all over again. Thanks again for your wonderful critique. <3

I like the idea of Vincent forming friendship with Sephiroth and Cloud in this lab - it made their lives less painful in this story, especially when Sephiroth hasn't lost his mind and decided to help Vincent and Cloud escape. I wonder if Seph will come back - I'm hoping for this

Hm, I can't safely answer that beyond what Vincent has confessed without spoilers so we'll have to wait and see. Maybe he will, maybe he won't... and poor, poor Cloud.
