About the Kimono, even if I had enough money I don't think I could find a way to get it to you. :( So ordering off the internet will be my only choice. :( I'd like it either to have been my choice or someone else who can at least see them. Meh! *shrugs ( ... )

Yeah, I wish it was cherry blossom season... supposedly Ueda castle is famous for how beautiful it is in cherry blossom season.

Too bad about the kimono... I found I website for them once though.. I'm sure you'll be able to google one up, but if you somehow can't find a good one by the time I go back to the US, I've got it bookmarked on my computer...

I'm already catching on to other people's conversations a whole lot more. My biggest problem is remembering how to say things myself. Recognizing is easier than recalling.
Also, was she studying at the same time? Because I've also been studying Japanese grammar for 3-4 hours every day.

Kazuko actually understands quite a bit of English. More than I realized, because she doesn't speak it nearly as well. But when she's around things are a lot easier. But with the rest of the family, we've developed a system of them writing down the romaji so I can look it up in my dictionary. I just look things up and say them to commincate. My dictionary is my bestest best friend here.

I found that the same way with french(If I didn't say this before) and that is, I could always understand french a lot easier than saying it. Like in french class, I could always completely understand... but there was a bunch of vocab I didn't know and couldn't piece together. Strange how that is isn't it?

And as for Lynn, she was taking a Japanese course once a week and perhaps studying on her own, I'm not sure. But it's awsome you've made good improvement! Perhaps one day we'll visit Japan together and you can be my translator! XD

Lol! It must be a bit annoying having to look up a bunch of stuff, but that just means you learn even more!

And I think I came across a website for kimonos. I can't remember. Maybe I'll go look now. ^^
