So I was wondering if anyone had any new information on Cera's upcoming film "Youth In Revolt"? I am a huge fan of the series, and I know he is too. Last I've heard is that the book has been pretty much bastardized, but what can you expect....book to movie adaptations are rarely in sync

i love YIR...one of the funniest books i've ever read, but i was wondering about it too...i haven't heard anything about it in a while. then again i love michael cera and miguel arteua, so i think it will be good...i hope so at least.

Well, last I knew there was a screening, and it had some pretty negative reviews. Idk.

Also, it's a limited release. wtf??

I bought the all-the-books-in-one book last yeah and I don't know why I haven't been able to really get into it.
I have a feeling that if I had read it a few years ago I would have definitely been engrossed by it.
It took me months to get halfway into it and it seems like such a chore to get through the rest of it.
I feel like I'm in an imagination slump or something. :-\
