I can't say that the Protomen track did too much for me- it's a little too Meatloaf for me, and Meatloaf is only good in very, very small doses. Like a jalapeno. Besides, I know absolutely dick about Megaman.

I get my quirky-music kick from Professor Elemental. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eELH0ivexKA)

I don't know how to hyperlink on LJ yet.

In other music news (I know it's been out since November 2010, but I only picked it up this weekend), Cee-Lo Green's album The Lady Killer is fan. fucking. tastic.

Also, completely out of nowhere, where is that avatar you're using from, and what's the context? The sixteen-year-old rabid BB/Rae shipper in me is... concerned.

It's actually a panel of Spoiler way back from the mid-90's run of Robin, hahaha, but now that you point it out her costume is a little reminiscent of cartoon!Raven's.

See I huff Meatloaf like it's a fine powder and I'm hustling some corporate snow circa 1987, which I think accounts for my religious rapture here.

Thank goodness for that. I was concerned for a second. (Yes I have no sense of proportion.)

I think Meatloaf became just too much like Meatloaf for me the first time I heard Life Is A Lemon (And I Want My Money Back).

Echoing the sax thing. Sax is forever ruined for me because all it does is remind me of old family sitcom themes and I can't get that out of my head. Of some like, camera from a helicopter flying over some suburb houses all THIS IS A SITCOMMMMM LOOK AT THIS HOUSE SHIT

not sure what I'm saying im really sick

Is it really in that many songs? I only really notably remember it from Edge of Glory and that is fucking Clarence Clemons that man played the Sax solo in Thunder Road I would stand in the front row of a crowd and listen to that man play sax with tears in my eyes.

I might be biased because I play the Sax.

Until you manage to delude yourself that you really really do like it, honestly. At which point you'll feel compelled to shoot down anyone who dares voice any remotely negative opinion of it with incoherent screaming about how they don't get the inherent symbolic value of everything in it?

I don't know. I don't own the album. I don't really like Lady Gaga.

Until 'Born This Way' sounds legitimately sincere to you.

Yeah I have no idea.

O_O... YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THEM? I'm actually shocked. I would have sent you their music ages ago.
