So anyway, who else here has watched Farscape? I'm into Season 3 now and kind of loving it. It's not a show without flaws, but it's so goddamn fun.

Things That Are Awesome- This show is lauded for exceptional characterization and character relationships and I'd have to agree with all the praise. I like that all the characters have notable ( Read more... )

Ha ha, you don't really owe me watching these things. I just honestly think you'd really love both DS9 and B5, although I'm not sure which one you'd love more.

Farscape might be a little more up your alley right now if you want to watch sci-fi, though? It's very episodic. There's a plot arc, but it's very loose (but also very good) with a huge emphasis on character development and relationships. *shrug*

ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN SUPERNATURAL. B[ Your posts on it simultaneously show me that there are good things about the show all the while reinforcing all the reasons I hate it. But I am glad you like it and are having fun.~

My boyfriend apparently liked this show a lot back in the day so he made me watch two seasons of it. It seems like something I would really like, but half the time I end up thinking everything is weird. I don't really remember it now, but I kind of want to watch the rest. I remember liking the women....especially um....I can't remember her name, but the light-blue one? Because she amused me. Though the thing with her and D'argo weirded me out.

It is a pretty weird show. Like, I could almost believe that it's off-puttingly weird, although I can't quite put my finger on why. Lots of reasons, although I feel that's part of its charm.

A friend of mine showed me a select episode of it once, it was a real trip. I'll probably check out the whole show sometime; I'm liking the sound of it the more I hear about it.

The first season is pretty terribly written for the most part because it's one of those shows that takes a while to figure out what it's good at. Once it gets into a groove, however, the trip is well worth it.
