My boss sent these to me. I don't know if she took them or someone else. But they're kinda freaky.

For people from Memphis, it's at Winchester and Hickory Hill in front of the Hickory Ridge Mall. Which I'm guessing is now probably going to stay closed?

This post is also public cause it's FREAKY.

Yeah it's freeeeeeeeeaky.

Like, my aunt's old house was down the road from there.

I was at the hospital when the tornadoes first started, and there was one in Arlington, TN, which was probably at max 10 miles away.

Yeah, I got to see a tornado. And that shit is SCARY. I'm just glad that it didn't hit near my house. I would've died.

I need the huggles. Lots of crap is so going on right now with me, it's so not funny. So ready to pull out all my hair.

BUT they ex-intubated my aunt today, and she's talking and is generally on some crazy drugs. She's definitely swollen, but she's going good. I'm going to make a post that says what happened.

:)

Wow. How incredibly post-apocalyptic-looking. Also, I was reminded of the mention in HP Book 7 of giants ripping up parts of England. Are we sure He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named doesn't have it out for Memphis?

I hope everyone is okay.

Hmm...and to think thats just down the road from the rink. And we eat at that Taco Bell alot (well the boys do)...

What pissed me off the most about the news reporting on this storm, was that the mall got more coverage than southaven/hornlack where the tornadoes first started. I mean, noone really shops at the hickory hood mall anywmore! Ugh.... I can understand getting national coverage if it it Wolfchase, but the Hickory Ridge mall? Give me a break.

Yeah, they are focusing on that mall way too much, but I'm guessing cause it's in the actual city and that's like a big deal. Southaven was hit bad too.

My mom's work's competition's office was in Southaven and was entirely destroyed killing three people and it's getting almost no coverage. It's crazy no matter what though.

Kristen works out there on Stateline/Airways in southaven right around the corner from that warehouse that was destroyed. She said she couldnt leave there till 12-1am that night. It was horrible.
