It was times like this that Fai wished Kurogane was here. Who else was ever going to help him get this whistling thing down? No matter how much he tried, the only noise he could make sounded more like strained blowing. Which, he supposed, was precisely what it was.

Defeated, the blonde had no other choice but to make his way down the street silently.

That got old quickly.

"Nothing to do, nothing to do." He softly said to himself. Days that the cafe was closed made him realize just how much of a working stiff he'd become.

How long had he been wandering? By now, Radiant Garden was already losing its novelty. Utterly gorgeous though it was, the quiet and lack of events drove him a little crazy. Really, it seemed like this would be a place where he would bring a date --- or maybe sleep his years away.

Suddenly, a young woman passed, with a smile on her purple lips. Kindly, she waved and Keith responded in the same manner, chuckling while doing so. Then, he would, by accident, bump shoulders with someone, causing him to whip around, brush the flirt away, and blurt hurriedly, "Ah, my apologies!! I should learn to pay attention more."

The dazed wizard had been focused on a shop to his left with something hit him square in the shoulder. He turned and waved a hand at the apologizing man.

"No, no, I wasn't-" He held back a soft gasp, quickly masking his surprise with a smile, "...paying any attention either."

The creature he was facing looked human enough, but that didn't seem to be quite the case. Whether or not he was dangerous, however, was still in question. In any case, this was certainly an interesting turn.

"I don't believe I've seen you around here before," Fai casually asked, "Are you new? Or just passing through, perhaps?"

He'd just be turning away after spitting out his apology, thus wasn't expecting this other to start up with conversation. most he had run into in the past people waved dismissively and sped off. How refreshing.

"You could call me new," There was a cheery, nervous chuckle after the sentence. "But then I'm also just passing through. I'm traveling around for a while. My original home had gotten so dull."
