Not too far from the entrance to the hospital is parked a typical, black, government issue vehicle--the security detail assigned to both her and Clarke. She's aware they're there and they won't get any closer unless they have to as, per her orders.
The timing worked out perfectly so that Jen didn't have to send poor Cynthia and she was able to make a stop at home before coming to get him. She ditched her skirt for some dark wash jeans and threw on an expensive-looking leather jacket. She smiles as she comes up to him and she can tell he's happy to see her. So is she.

He doesn't expect to see Jen behind the wheel so when she approaches him it feels like she's come out of no where. It feels like it's been ages since he's seen Jen from a perspective other than lying in a bed. He's thrilled to see her for obvious reasons and he's grateful also.
"Hi."
He walks toward her, again moving slowly but steady on his feet.

She smiles up at him and teases, "I hope this is on the up-and-up and I'm not just breaking you out of here unwittingly." She's so glad to see him on his feet again and she thinks he looks wonderful for a guy who nearly died a week ago.
Maybe it's because she's aware of the security detail watching them, but she's hesitant to kiss him even though she's not here in an official capacity. Instead, she settles for cupping his cheek with one hand, letting her eyes show all the affection.

"I'm officially in your custody now." He took a few steps forward. "I think you got the raw end of the deal here though." He hadn't told her about the nightmares yet (though she surely knew about them to some extent) or elaborated about his incision and how slowly he was transitioning from sitting to standing to laying.
He doesn't need words or a kiss hello to see the affection present. He returns the nonverbal gesture with the same look in his eyes and a soft smile. He debates reaching for her hand and ultimately decides against it for the moment, not wanting to make her succumb to his pace.
