Keeping track of the health

Ryther's pinched neck/shoulder is mostly mended. Still twangs here and there. Then there was gout last weekend... or maybe it was cellulitus.. A swelling and pain in his foot, though he said it didn't feel like gout. Well, that's better now too. But he's still on antibiotics to make sure, in case it was cellulitus.

We are in the same boat with our boy, no one wants a drivers license, it seems.

Its apparently quite the think not to get a car now.. and I know in my heart he's really not ready to drive (because if he were, he'd be gangbusters to get it) but on the other hand, I'm like "are you freaking kidding me?" I wanted to drive when I was little.. never mind waiting till after I was able. Of course today it seems so much less safe to be on the roads… and expensive. I paid for my own car insurance when I was his age, and my gas and so on. Today's kids can hardly afford the gas and the car, let alone the insurance with the rates for teens being through the roof.
