Is this the end of the Lesbomobile?

So as any of you on FB know, my car was hit yesterday. And it doesn't look good. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt, but my car may not be salvageable. I won't know for sure until it's looked at by the insurance co.

One of the perpetual jokes about me is that I don't take left hand turns. Which isn't to say I don't take ANY left hand turns, but I ( Read more... )

Watch yourself over the next few months. I suffered loss of memory capacity some while after a whiplash injury. Give it a few weeks before assuming you are definitely OK and don't settle too quickly.

Is that the reason behind your LJ name? I did have more soreness on Sunday from the seatbelt. That took a few days to show up. But today I feel good. Hopefully that will be the way things go. Fingers crossed.

In part. I spent about 6 weeks in a neck collar, when that was the way things were done. A friend joked it should be my LJ name and a different friend set the account up for me way back in the days when you needed a code to get an account and was given one as a new user to pass on. Then he introduced me to a lot of people who 'friended me' before I could use the code to get a different user name.

However, times move on and I rather enjoy the power exchange which a friend confers on me.

So really I'd go for a little from column A and a little from column B to pin down the meaning of the name now. I find it completely overawing that anyone can see me as a dominatrix as I would have considered myself the most unlikely candidate.

The car accident that totaled David's parent's car and left his sister with a permanently fucked up leg was because some asshole didn't stop at the damn stop sign. I'm really glad you are okay!!! Stuff like that can really be dangerous.

I would've been really shaken up, too. I'm also glad that the police and people around you were able to do that for you!

I can't text with my phone on the road - the way it's set up, it requires full attention, and my driving is erratic enough as it is. But they say huge amounts of accidents on the roads these days are due to that. Wouldn't surprise me.

Here's hoping you get a newer, not stupid-blind-spots car soon. I saw the pictures on FB - that looked SCARY AS SHIT!

Also - LESBOmobile? Hee hee. Has Cemetery known the wiles and wonders of lesbian sex in this vehicle? Inquiring minds want to know!

No.. there has been no (to my knowledge) Lesbian sex in this car. Or any car. lol. No, the Lesbomobile gets its name from the fact that the year I got it, it was rated the # 1 car choice of Lesbians by the Car Talk Guys on NPR. Coincidentally, my husband's then car the VW Jetta was the # 1 car of gay men. Subaru's have the distinction of being Butch. As well they should! They get the job done with no fooling around. lol
And if that doesn't prove our's is a marriage of connivence, I don't know what will. lol

I'll have to remember that about Suburu's! Pat's first car a Suburu, I think. Definitely no lesbian sex went on in there!

I liked Car Talk - funny show, funny guys, and occasionally life-enlightening.

Hee hee marriage of convenience! AHAHAHA!

I'm good. cemeteryconsort March 12 2014, 22:42:24 UTC
Yeah, I feel fine thank you. Still a very slight soreness in my sternum but it's fading fast. No neck pain, headaches, anything like that. I think I lucked out. And I'm glad of it.
