Dreams of reused graves

One of my remembered dreams last night was about talking to someone about how they were selling new lots in an old New York City cemetery, which by all rights should have been full. I then learned that they were digging up old graves and re-selling them, junking the headstones and doing who knows what with the bodies. I was totally disgusted and

I wish that didn't sound plausible.

Sadly, I'm sure it's been done. Local cemetery was caught doing exactly this. And I know another cemetery in the area who uses 'paths for burials, and you can see that they are digging up bodies from where the stones are. How can the families not say anything? Its' just incredible.
