Yes, I am rather glad to have a skilled brother. He's making up for all the years I suffered at his hands. lol

Yes, of course we missed you. Now, when my partner noticed the leaves all over our bookstore porch this month his reaction was "wait, again?" I just laughed at him. We bag up the leaves and pile them over my back garden, which gave me lots of tomatoes and squash this year. And flowers. For having been a neglected trash heap for the previous 20 years that's pretty good.
Sculpture? wonderful.
I have hundreds of daffodils to plant...and there's a storm coming. Maybe after the storm.

I wish I could somehow manage all the leaves and make them into proper mulch. I'm sure there is a mountain of loam on the hill, but now it's mixed with other 'trash' and has Japanese bamboo growing in it, which once established, well, I don't want to think about it.
The leaves at my house become great mulch, and grew some great potatoes this year. Nature has a way about it.
I'll post a picture of the sculpture again soon.
I love daffodils. I didn't plant any this year, but I usually try to do some each year. They are so wonderful to see poking up in the spring.

Congrats on your sculpture. What a beautiful piece it is.

IS THAT WHY PUMPKIN IS 1.99 A CAN!!?

I have a pile of mulched leaves steaming next to my garage. Waiting for them to catch fire and burn my life savings investment to the ground. Too dark when I get home to move it. Sigh.

I don't think you'll have to worry too much about a homeowner sized pile. I have gigantic piles at the cemetery that smoke or steam when I move them, but even with all that concentrated heat, I've never had pile catch fire on its own. It's pretty funky though that they generate that much heat.
