yes, all named after british females politicians and actresses.
Maggie is the one sitting on the ground, she was named after magarat thatcher who was British PM from 1979-1991, when they were first in the house, she was the leader so it was natural.
The Other black on is Claire, she is named after claire short, who was basically interested in looking pretty, which decribes claire perfectly, she is the prettiest of all the birds with green and black feathers.
The White one next to claire is edweena, named after Edweena Curry who in the 80's claimed 80 percent of Englands eggs had salomala (she was right)
and the one of the chair is called hyacinth, named after the woman from this british televesion show called keeping up appearances, the character believes she is better then her family and so fairly associated with them, this one always is by herself and never concergated with the other chickens so we named her that.

That's so cute. I miss my chickens, Hidia, Draggel and Peppy. We got them down in Little Havana and they come in paper bags so they don't scratch you.

wow raj...beautiful pics, really... what a view from the house...I'm sitting here reading the comments you wrote about making tea and toast in the AM, and visiting churches, and walking through ruins, and I am thinking how incredibly peaceful this all sounds. Soak all that in before you get home. Hope u are having a wonderful time...i expect you to have done tons of self-reflection and have solved all the major crisis in the world before you return.. (the baby is adorable too)

Thank you , i updated because i felt bad i haven't really.
Yeah i have been thinking about stuff but it can also be incredibly lonely at time because i have no one to share this with. I so with i was with somewho i cared about(or with someone special) so that i could show them england and the places i have come to love. I mean i hang with my aunt and uncle (and we have some good times) but there is only such a limit to what we can do.
My cousin who was suppost to show my england is a useless, leech who basically isn't worth my time of day and so i have decided not to even see her before i leave (ask annie about it, i talked to her about it)
anyway i better go because i have to do some research about stonehenge and cornwall in england and i want to get ready so i can see this church in the countryside. bye

Awww..those chickys are so cute. They look tasty. They make me feel guilty for eating chickens :(

I can't wait to see the rest of your pics. Hopefully the British Airway strike will be over so you can make it home in time for school.

Yeah i know that is what i tell my aunt all the time, they eat only organic basmati rice, cream, chickpeas, all good stuff.
Yeah the BA thing is strange because last time i came, they went on strike.
