Re: four quartets, guess what I just checked out from the library for spring break reading. That and a play by Eliot, "The Elder Statesmen" -- have you read any of his plays?

What I like about Sylvia Plath is that she manages to put words together that don't quite add up to logical completeness, but give a very strong impression and image anyways. I mean, if you were hard-pressed to say exactly what was going on in this poem, you'd have to sort of make something up.

Also it's a short poem. I like those. :]

Four Quartets is sometimes my favorite poetical work ever written. Depending on my mood. It's always in my top five.

I have not read any of T.S. Eliot's plays. Someday.
