Martino and I don't celebrate Valentine's day. It's a gimmicky Hallmark holiday - derived from an early christian tradition to encourage non-christian Romans to exchanged notes of affection instead of wanton sex in the month of February. Long story short, we don't need a card company or religion telling us what day of the year we should do

I got Danny some chocolate too, and he left it on the living room table last night. Our dog is pretty good, but I know she couldn't resist licking a plate that was left on the table once...I saw the chocolate there and moved it, but more for concern of the dog...chocolate isn't supposed to be very good for them...

I think Trinity has a cast-iron stomach, luckily. So far she seems to be experiencing no ill effects.

My biggest concern is that if the chocolate isn't lethal it can cause blindness.

just because you watch mtv doesnt mean you can parrot your propaganda on livejournal. valentines day brings love into other peoples lives. quit your liberal whining just because noone loves you on valentines day.

1) I don't watch MTV. Never have. But if they were talking about the historical significance of Valentine's day, good on them.

2) I can say whatever the hell I want on LiveJournal.

3) History isn't propoganda.

4) That's great if some people need a special day to show they love each other. We don't.

5) Liberal: Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry. You're damned right I'm liberal (just not in the political sense, lol!)

6) I'm married, so if my husband doesn't love me he does a damn good job of hiding it. Especially buying me extremely expensive chocolates despite the fact that we agreed not to. Yup, he sure must hate me!
