I'm enjoying the 75+F weather in CA right now... it's actually a bit chilly for us this time of year... we're used the 80's and 90's in Jan. :-p

Why are you happy? Because you've tried to (delusionally) turn a bad situation into a twisted competitive one. Kind of like the "Yeah, well my shiprecked-with-a-carnivore experience was worse than YOURS" one-upmanship.

At least shipwrecks with carnivores are usually in warm equatorial locales.

Lol, I like your analogy better than mine. I thought of it more along the lines of two old men sitting on a porch somewhere:

"you think you're malignant growth is bad? Check out this baby! 3 pounds, it is, and my doctor says it's mostly made up of fat and fibrous tissue. Yours is barely the size of a tennis ball!"

But yes, in my head said porch was also at a lovely retirement home, possibly in Florida.

*cries* I miss Chinooks!!! We're getting an odd little warm snap this week too. It's supposed to be 0 by tomorrow (of course I'll be working all day), though I checked Calgary's forecast and of course they'll be getting +7.

But at least it's som reprieve!
