Ok, so at about 10min to 6AM I hear scratching from my bathroom. This annoys me as it's usually Jak-Jak or MoMo desperately trying to claw through the register on the floor and find a way out into the 'Big Room' as I call it. Which I'm sure would only lead to them wailing outside when they realized there was no food and no clean litterboxes.
Anywhoo, I roust myself and wander into the room and see grace sitting calmly at the base of the toilet staring at my dryer silently. I then realize.... all the other cats are in the damned hallway. ALL of them. Everybody present and accounted for....
So who or what the fuck is in my bathroom scratching!?
It was Isis. The stray kitty that I need to get to the Vet so I can get her into her home!!
I have a vague idea of how she did it, but somehow she got into the damned house!!! I checked all my windows and doors and nope... not through there. She had to have crawled up through the teeeeeeeeny plumbing hole behind my shower. But.. I have no clue how she fit through the damned thing!!! And why MY house???
Well, seeing as she was already in the damned house, I went and got an extra litter box and grabbed the flea shampoo. Filled and set the box in the extra bedroom along with her food and water bowls from outside and then filled the Tub partially for her immanent bath. Which, I can tell ya, she was not to thrilled about.
After clipping her claws (( A) I wouldn't get clawed to death durring the bath and B) I've seen her eat birds so don't want whatever is under them to get on/in my skin! )) She went into the bath. And.... it wasn't too terrible. Washing Alan's cat Slate was more of a pain than her! That's not to say she liked it at all, just that she didn't try to claw me or bite me At All.
After wrapping her in a big fluffy towel, we went into the front bedroom and closed the doors on the other kitties. Which, they were not thrilled about as that's the room with the big window they like to lay in. But I toweled her dry and when I unwrapped her, she didn't spring away and run. She stayed curled in my lap and let me ruffle her fur to dry her. When she was done with that, she meandered over to her food, chowed a bit, explored, sniffed and scratched in her litterbox and I can only tell ya, if a cat could look ecstatic about a litterbox, She did.
Wet and sniffing at the door while another cat sniffles at the other side.
My foot is wet... My Foot Is Wet!! Ohgodohgodohgod!! WATER!!! GET IT OFF!! GetitoffgetitoffgetitOFF!!!
"omnomnomnomnomnom"
...whyfor she give me moar waters? I hadz da baff!!
I took some photo's of her all wet, which are behind the cut, And I will hope you not only enjoy them, but will consider helping me get her to the Vet. Getting worm meds and all that for one cat is bad enough but I can't afford to get meds for all of them... not at the same time!!!
