Rest in Peace, Ki.

Ona more business-y note, for lack of a good word, I've been thinking for a while about changing my LJ. Not just change the name of this one, although I think technically it's possible to do that. But leaving this one alone and making a new one ( Read more... )

About changing the name and getting a new journal- when you are no longer represented by the title you've chosen, it's appropriate to move on. E-mail addresses, journal accounts, AIM screen names. If it's not a part of who you are, find what is.

I appreciate the support. I'm not entirely sure what name -does- fit me yet, just that I need to move on from this one based off events from several years ago.

I feel that if anyone who had an LJ account wasn't on her friends list, they shouldn't be allowed to read her journal.
At least, not all of it.
But that's just my opinion.
And I don't really know their stories, anyway.

Point taken and considered. I thought about that too - there was, after all, a reason she made her journal that way. And I'm not completely dedicated to the idea yet, hence this journal hoping for feedback.

I agree with this, even as someone not on her friends list (I always read back when it was public, and never got around to asking to be added). If it were me, I wouldn't want everything out there. But if someone could say something general about what was going on with her lately, that might help people understand as well. I still checked her public entries and blog once in a while to see how she was doing, and the recent ones all seemed positive, enthusiastic even. This really stunned me, I thought she was doing a lot better.
