I still remember her cheesy pop career. I hated the tow hits she had SO damn much.

Fear not, you are not a lone in your dislike for Rose. I was never a big fan. She was always just too chavvy and too stupid for me.

Although, having said that, I'd chose Rose over Gwen from Torchwood any day of the week.

Well, and I just found out the other day that Catherine Tate has a (not so) secret life as a comedian, something like Tina Fey in the US, I guess? And that John Barrowman is the UK's Simon Cowell (only not so mean), but with added musical theater. It really is odd. I mean, we squee over these shows together, but the pop culture as a whole does not cross the pond. Makes me want to go live in London, just to find out about all of these things that I do not know. *stares vainly at enormous airline ticket prices*
