the icon is really fitting

so i went to see a early showing this morning (thanksgiving) of Tangled. Disney's new animated movie based on Rapunzel.

i would say i was 2/3's through the movie it is building up a to a climatic scene, and even tho it is just a disney movie i let myself get into it, was in the moment. the screen went blank the theater was pitch black for a second

that sucks! I sure hope the theater gave you a refund or gift cards or something!!

i got a refund, but a friend wanted to go see a movie yesterday, and i didn't think he would want to see tangled, so we saw 127 hours, and since we saw it on a friday night it was twice the cost of what i paid to see tangled. and so i am currently a little broke. so ya still don't know how it ends
as far as i can tell no one was injured and made it out alright. but i never asked what happened, i may still try to ask someone in the near future.

ahh! update!
so strangely enough i told my coworkers about this upon returning to work.
one just happens to be the son of a captain of a fire department, and he and his father came out to that fire. so he told me it was a popcorn burner. which makes sense as i could tell after the fire that the smoke i saw came from a kitchen area.
and i just saw the end of the movie today! so yay!
