That's perfectly alright! Questions are welcomed and actually help us make the FAQ a more informative place.

01. Sex is allowed, as are other mature themes. Players are aware of the content that may be present, and must determine for themselves if they are mature enough to handle the themes, and choose whether or not to click the cut to the log. Warnings are encouraged, but not necessary as long as the information is present somewhere in the description.

02. This game is accepting of any sexual preferences.

03. You do, indeed! You can look at the list of locations for a better idea of options, but the main activity will take place in the major population centers such as Las Vegas and Chicago.

04. As long as it's within reasonable limits, it would be acceptable. Give us some more details and we can let you know specifics.

Alright!

Make sure to spread the word to your friends. The more people we get, the faster we can get started.

This RP looks new so this probably won't be an issue for a while -- but what about characters that are dropped/killed and then reapplied for by someone else?

Characters who are dropped can be picked up by another player as completely new individuals. Depending on the preference of the the player, they can be a clone or "domiciled" version. A clone would be an entirely different person; a person who has undergone the domiciling process will simply be completely wiped of all memories contrary to the desires of the government.

Almost anything can happen when they make someone disappear. Creativity is part of the fun, as long as your plan is moderator approved.

I just had a question (or two) regarding the drugs in the water:

1 - How badly do the drugs affect the people? Does it vary from person to person, and/or is there a threshold of effects?

2 - is there a possibility of a character becoming somewhat immune to the effects?

I only ask because the character I'm apping has the curiosity of a cat, and it seems like him that he'd attempt to build up some sort of resistance to it.

EDIT: One more question: Are the crime syndicates fairly common? Like, could my character simply be a part of one without needing any specifics?

Sorry, I'm such a sucker for details and I'm paranoid of doin' it wrong xD;;

The drugs basically remove a person's aggressive tendencies. More information can be found at the following website: ParepinA character cannot really become immune to the effects, namely because it's not like a poison or something that a resistance can be built up for. It's somewhat similar to many anti-depressants and/or depressants, like cocaine and other drugs. It affects the chemical balance of the brain. tweaking levels of dopamine and seratonin to affect the way a person operates on a basic, emotional level ( ... )

I see, I see~ I just needed to know so I could figure out which direction to pull his background from.

Also, so there are the "high class" type syndicates, but what about your common street rats? Or does the government do a good job at picking up the trash, so to speak?

Thanks for the information.

I'd pretty much figured that would be the situation with the brothers, and with good reason! It gets boring playing by yourself.
I'll see if I can find somebody to play the other brother. If not, I'll work something else out.

One more question: It's just America that's gone whacko, is it? The drugs aren't in other countries water? So if somebody had been out of the country for a little while, they might figure out that "Holy crap, the water in America makes you completely loopy!"
I'm trying to figure out a good way to get my character off the water, you see. I don't think he'd willingly go back onto it once he figured out it was drugged, so the big one is just giving him a chance to realize what's going on.

Exactly! A lot of people who do leave the country come back and realize something is off, which is a problem for the government. Six weeks off of the water, and you're clean. You just have to figure out how to get around the problem that everything bottled in the US has the drugs in it.
