Some professions require a certain amount of ongoing education every year, usually in the form of several-hour seminars. At least for the legal field, it seems like the subjects do not have to be all that closely related to American law. I routinely see advertisements for these in the Jewish press covering topics in halacha or Jewish ethics. But

I hadn't read (nor seen a link to) the article about Facebook. I admit I'm tempted to post the link to it on FB :-)

Wow, really? I had assumed it would have made the rounds there! I didn't see it make the rounds here, but I figured there for sure. (I'm not on FB. I had seen the dead-tree edition a month or so back, and came across the online copy more recently.)

Well, it may have made rounds that I just didn't see... I don't assume I see everything people post there (one of my FB gripes, actually, how they handle the stream of people's activities and posts).
