Wow! The video of Helsinki was great. The kids really enjoyed seeing the difference between the solstices.

Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to grow up with all of the information in the world at my fingertips. Anytime our kids have a question, we can answer or illustrate it with a few keystrokes. It's amazing.

Yeah, it would have been pretty different! When I was a kid the search path was approximately: look in our encyclopedia or other in-home references; ask my father; ask a relevant teacher (if applicable and it wasn't summer); queue it up for the next trip to our small local library (we went about once a week, or more in the summer); decide how badly I really wanted to know if all that failed.
