You've settled on a canonical form of P.*rl? Or do you just rotate? :-)

Mine does the same thing. He's never too warm, it seems!

Given that they're heat-seeking and have a natural body temperature higher than ours, I'm always pleasantly surprised when one of them decided to curl up next to/on me. In winter, I mean -- I totally understand a desire for heat transfer in the summer. :-)

Diana usually sits on top in our bed. But I like the tail shot.

He usually burrows completely under. Yesterday he left a visible marker. :-)

Baldur parks on top of the covers at my feet, and Embla will sprawl in the middle of the bed if and only if there are no other occupants.

Hahahahahahahaha!! I frequently sit on a cat for just that reason.

Long ago I learned to test lumps before sitting. :-)

The only reason it doesn't happen in my house (says Ista) is that every night the Man evicts me from my nice warm spot at the foot of the bed, just past the Woman's feet and in front of the space heater. He makes me go out into the hall, and then he shuts the door and pulls it tight.

(Sniff.) So I have to sleep on the guest bed in the Girl's room, next to the radiator.

Erik to Ista: yes yes, that's very unfiar of the Man, but surely you can slip in there for the daytime portion of your sleep time? Not all 23 hours are at night when he doesn't want to share, after all.
